We have steadily upgraded our line of products and we continue to do so
through our Product Development Personnel. Blue Ribbon adheres to
strict manufacturing specifications and maintains that production
deadlines be met. Good manufacturing practice is in place at all times to
ensure the consumer, quality for their money.

The First production of HAK HAS HOT PEPPER SAUCE (142ml x 24 )
commenced at 171/2 Kew Road in Kingston, Jamaica in 1987, the
company supplied the Jamaican market solely. Factory space became
limited as production increased. Our company at that time was named
Hak Has Mfg Ltd. relocated in 1988 to 62a Waterloo Road, Kingston,
Jamaica. At this location Hak Has commenced contract packaging for
Grace Kennedy Export Trading Ltd. Hak Has range of products extended
in 1988 to include.
1. Scotch Bonnet Sauce
2. Hot Pickled Peppers
3.Original Hot Pickle
4. Hot Pepper Rings
5. Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
6. Meat/Poultry Seasoning
In February 1990 -HakHas Mfg Ltd. Relocated to the Agro Export
Center. 188 Spanish Town Road, Kingston. From 1990 -1996 Hak Has
had steadily upgraded its line of products through our Product
Development Personnel. And did packing contracts from Badia Spices in
Miami Florida, USA.
An inhouse Laboratory is used for testing of each batch of our products
produced. Further test are done by the Jamaica Bureau of Standards. At
that time we had totally developed 25 of our own products.
In 2005 We changed our name to Blue Ribbon Mfg Ltd and moved to 4b
Cardiff Hall, Runaway Bay, St. Ann, Jamaica and at present is operating
from the same location.
We have once again upgraded our Hak Has line and currently have more
than 70 products and continuing to add more. In 2006 we launched our
second brand "FulaFlava". In 2007 we launched our third brand "reggae
spice". We currently are adding new editions to these newer brands.
