| On November 1, the East Lawns of Devon House was the scene of the successful staging of the inaugural Taste Jamaica Celebrity Chefs’ Cook-off, which was organised by Jamaica Trade and Invest (JTI/JAMPRO) under the aegis of Restaurant Week 2009. Designed to showcase Brand Jamaica produce and processed foods while facilitating business links between their suppliers and buyers in the food and hospitality industries, the event was preceded by pre- arranged business-to-business matchmaking sessions facilitated by JTI’s Cluster and Linkages Department. In these sessions, agro-processors and other suppliers had the opportunity to directly interface with buyers in their respective supply chain One of our directors Mr. Osric Hacker discusses Hak Has line of products with JTI President Sancia Bennett Templer and her husband Julian Templer. |
